We rent Honda Sport 150 cc (4-stroke bike) for 20$US/day. It is more pro feeling on the street with this bike.

We rent Minsk 125cc (2-stroke dirt bike) at day rate of $10US. They are both good city movers and long distance tours. Should be renters take one bike for one man because saddle is relevant with 1 people carrying with bags or luggage. Monthly price is at $ 80 – 100/month, not discount at all.

We have Honda Dream, Honda Super Dream, Honda Wave about 100 – 110 cc for daily rental costs are 10US/day/. Bike seat is more suitable for 2 people .This is a good city riding but not for long day tours. Monthly cost is $80/month, not discount at all.

We also provide riding lessons for first-time riders for 10 USD per person. After one to two hours, most of customers can ride our bikes and understand how to behave with Vietnamese traffic and can handle some problems on the street. This is very important if you are independent rider(s). We be sure that you will be real riders after training.

Once you have mastered these fundamentals, you can add new excitement to the experience by renting motorcycles made in the former Soviet Block. Fit and finish are not terms associated with the Russian "Minsk" or the East German "Simson." These bikes, while much more powerful than the Japanese scooters, hold the road like buckets of rusted bolts. The kick starter is mounted on the same shaft as the gear shift and is designed to remove all the skin on the inside of one's ankle each time you attempt to start the bike. The carburation systems are consumptive and, on a healthy day, require a full five minutes of priming, coughing, belching and backfiring before any forward motion is possible. A vile, grimy exhaust the color of tobacco juice, is produced by their two stroke engines. Handling is sloppy, the horn, lights, clutch, starter and other components are strictly hit or miss and make one long for the reliability of 1960s British-made equipment.

The tank holds 10-11 litres. You get 250-300 km per full tank. The reserve tank switch is under the tank on the left hand side. The petrol is two strokes, which means there is oil mixed in it. The Minsk requires 4-5% oil, which equates to about 500ml water bottle’s worth for ten litres. In most cases the oil is added separately to the petrol. All stations have oil. All town centres will have someone selling petrol. Look for 2-litre petrol bottles on the sides of the road. Even though all petrol stations will mix oil in your petrol when they see your Minsk, always make sure. If the bike starts to get weak and hot, you know a mistake has been made. Immediately pour more oil in. You drive on the right-hand side on the road in Vietnam. Use your horn a lot. There are Minsk mechanics in all population centres. Unless you crash, the police will take no interest in you. Carry tyre repair tools and a pump. Don't give riders after you a bad rap. Smile and wave at all the people on the road, wave back to all other tourers driving Minsks. Don’t quibble about small prices.

Minsks are very easier to repair. You will not have to wait long before someone drives past and helps you. Still, it is a good idea to be able to fix a flat trye and change/clean the sparkplug, as these are your most likely problems. Pick up a copy of the Minsk Repair Manual.PDF to get a complete round-up of you Minsk if you are independent rider(s).
