Historical value

According to historical documents, The Lady Temple existed before King Gia Long ascended the throne (1802). The temple was built to worship the Lady of the Land Nguyen Kim and Nguyen Uong. The Lady of the Land Nguyen Kim was the wife of Lord Nguyen Hoang, who had the merit of opening up the land of Quang Binh. She had many contributions in helping her husband build and develop this land.
When King Gia Long ascended the throne, he brought the tablet of Lord Nguyen Kim to Trieu To Temple in Hue to worship. King Nguyen ordered the old temple to be renovated and renamed Tam Thuong Linh Tu. He ordered all officials from the Tri Phu down to contribute their efforts and money to rebuild it. In the communal house, the upper level worships the Holy Mother of Heaven, the second level worships the God King, the third level worships the community". The King conferred the title of Thanh Hoang Thuong Nguyen Uong as the village's tutelary god and the temple was renamed the communal house named after Thanh Hoang Thuong Nguyen Uong: Thuong Thua (Tam Thuong) temple.

By 2015, philanthropists and villagers had come together to restore the temple, making it a famous spiritual tourist destination in Quang Binh.
