On August 7 2024, Phongnha Discovery was honored to accompany the ISAMMA Delegation to explore two of Vietnam's most beautiful caves: Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave. The ISAMMA 2024 conference ended successfully and was both an important scientific event and a memorable journey of discovery and experience for each delegate.
Paradise Cave, also known as the Royal Palace in the Underground, offered the delegation an immersive experience in a magical world. Walking on natural stone steps and witnessing giant stone pillars, it felt like they were lost in an underground palace. The cave's millions of colorful and strangely shaped stalactites that stretched for kilometers created a truly magical space.
Continuing their journey, the group visited Phong Nha Cave, renowned as one of the most beautiful caves in the world. Here, they experienced a boat ride to explore riverside villages, corn hills, and crop fields. They also got to explore the underground river, admire clear lakes, and observe unique stalactites within Phong Nha Cave.
The group enjoyed lunch at Discovery Lodge, with rustic dishes bearing the unique features of Central Vietnamese cuisine.
The trip has left unforgettable memories in the hearts of each member. From the laughter while exploring the caves together to the moments of admiring the beauty of nature, all created a memorable experience. The exploration of Paradise Cave and Phong Nha Cave brought the group wonderful experiences, truly a journey to discover the magical beauty of nature and an unforgettable memory in life.
