Central Vietnam is set to welcome an exciting new tourism product with the upcoming launch of the Hue – Phong Nha tourist train, expected to begin operating on September 1, 2026. The new rail service will connect some of the region's most iconic destinations, offering travelers a unique journey that combines transportation with cultural and scenic experiences.

According to the proposed plan, the tourist train will travel approximately 190 kilometers, connecting the stations of Hue – Dong Ha – My Trach – Dong Hoi – Tho Loc. The journey is expected to take around 4.5 hours, with ticket prices starting from VND 360,000 per person.

The new railway service is designed not only as a convenient means of transportation but also as an immersive travel experience, allowing visitors to discover the rich cultural, historical, and natural heritage of Central Vietnam along the way.
