Tour Itinerary

7:00 AM: Pick up from Dong Hoi City

8:00 AM: Pick up from Phong Nha

8:00 - 8:30 AM: Gather at the Operations House, where the group will receive a safety briefing and a summary of the itinerary. Light snacks will be provided, and preparations for logistics will be made. Participants will also warm up before starting the trekking journey.

9:00 - 11:00 AM: Embark on a thrilling adventure and explore the depths of the earth at Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. This journey not only offers breathtaking scenery but also provides real adventurous experiences!

With a designed distance ranging from 3km to 6km, you will challenge yourself with stunning landscapes and unique biodiversity. From easy paths to high-level challenges, your journey will ascend from 150m to 300m, from the valley to the mountain peak. Be prepared for indescribable emotions when you reach the summit!

In this journey, we will take you into the heart of the pristine core area of Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, where untouched nature and mystical landscapes blend together. Are you ready to face exciting challenges and explore the hidden secrets of nature?

11:00 AM: The group arrives at Aquarium Cave.

Aquarium Cave (also known as Cave E) is a place of stunning natural beauty in the majestic mountainous forest area of the Phong Nha-Ke Bang cave system.

The highlight of this journey is the swimming and diving activity to explore Aquarium Cave. Immerse yourself in the emerald water of the cave, and you will witness surprising discoveries and a marvelous underwater world. 

Dive and explore 150 meters inside Thuy Cung Cave - one of the most pristine river caves in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Explore Thuy Cung Cave like an underwater palace with colorful and magnificent stalactites.

12:30 PM: Lunch and free exploration.

After completing the exploration, we will prepare a warm cup of tea for you, helping you quickly regain warmth in your body. Enjoy some relaxation time and breathe in the fresh air, where only you and nature interact with each other. This will be a wonderful moment for you to enjoy some private time, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

15:00 - 17:00 Departure of the group.

Continue trekking through the forest for 3km along the Survival Valley trail to return to the starting point. Arrive at the Ho Chi Minh trail and enjoy cold beer/coca. •

17:00 - 18:00 PM: Return to Phong Nha town to enjoy dinner with local specialties as a reward for a fantastic day of exploration, and end the tour journey.

  • Insurance coverage up to millions of dong
  • Tax and environmental protection fees, ensuring natural resources
  • Tour guide and porter assistance throughout the tour
  • Meals and beverages
  • Caving and camping equipment, including helmets, headlamps, gloves, and life jackets
  • Military boots/sandals for jungle trekking (for guests without proper footwear, sizes 36-43)
  • Dry bag for small-sized phones and cameras (Please notify us in advance if you have a larger-sized camera). Dry bags are only prepared in case of high water levels.
  • Medical and rescue equipment

You need to prepare:

  • Light and quick-drying clothing:
  • 1 set of trekking clothes, preferably with long sleeves to avoid insect bites
  • 1 set of swimwear
  • 1 set of clothes for camping
  • 1 set of spare clothes for after the trip (if needed)
  • 1 pair of high-quality military hiking boots/sandals suitable for rugged terrains (DO NOT wear waterproof shoes as they do not have good water drainage)
  • 1 pair of long and thick socks (avoid low-cut socks) 
  • 1 spacious backpack to hold your personal items: mosquito repellent, sunglasses, hat, camera, underwear, toiletries, sunscreen, and swimwear.
Notes

Please ensure that your fitness level is suitable for the following activities for the trip:

  • Hiking 6km through mountainous forests with uneven terrain, crossing rivers/streams
  • Climbing steep slopes of about 150m - 300m (height from the valley to the mountain peak)
  • Swimming to explore the Aquarium Cave
  • Group size: from 5 to 20 people
  • Please let us know if you have any history of cardiovascular diseases or epilepsy
