The Vietnam International Travel Mart 2025 (VITM Hanoi 2025) officially opened on the morning of April 10, 2025, at the International Exhibition Center I.C.E Hanoi. This year's theme is "Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism."

The event attracted 450 booths from 56 provinces and cities across the country, along with participation from 16 countries and territories. Over 600 businesses and 8 airlines took part, creating a vibrant forum for the tourism industry.

VITM Hanoi 2025 aims to focus on developing Vietnam's tourism destinations to achieve the designation of Green Tourism. This initiative is intended to enhance the brand of Vietnam Tourism, emphasizing environmental sustainability, security, safety, and attractiveness for tourists. Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Lan, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA) and Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of VITM Hanoi 2025, stated that the Fair contributes to promoting localities and tourism businesses to focus on building green destinations and developing green tourism products. It also emphasizes the need for training a workforce knowledgeable in green tourism, aiming to elevate the tourism sector in Vietnam as a significant green economy contributor.

The Fair also showcased achievements in digital transformation, particularly the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics in tourism and service sectors, as part of Vietnam's digital transformation movement. Vu The Binh, Chairman of the VITA Association, highlighted that VITM Hanoi 2025 marks the first introduction of AI and robotics in the tourism industry, signaling the start of a new era for Vietnamese tourism. According to statistics, 50% of the 40,000 tourism businesses have embraced digital transformation technologies.

- Opening Ceremony: Held on the morning of April 10, 2025, at the Fair's outdoor stage.

 - Forum "Developing Green Destinations, Elevating Vietnam Tourism": Scheduled for April 11, 2025, at TQT Hotel, this forum will discuss the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism.

 - Cultural and Culinary Activities: The Fair features various art performances and unique culinary experiences from both domestic and international art troupes, providing diverse experiences for visitors.

At the Fair, many travel businesses introduced domestic tours starting from just 99,000 VND, along with discounts of up to 15 million VND on international tours, aimed at stimulating tourism demand and attracting visitors.

VITM Hanoi 2025 serves as both an opportunity for tourism businesses to showcase their products and services and a platform to promote the development of green and sustainable tourism. This initiative aims to enhance the international standing of Vietnamese tourism.
