The first phase of the project is put into operation with Bang Village (Onsen 1), An Bai Village (Onsen 2), and Cay Bong Village (Onsen 3), 92 rooms, 2 restaurants, convention center and water park. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Doan Ngoc Lam - Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee affirmed that Bang Onsen Spa and Resort is a key project of the province. The project is expected to "push" tourism development in the southwest of Quang Binh.
According to the Quang Binh Department of Tourism, Bang mineral springs and Dong Chau - Khe Nuoc Trong Nature Reserve are precious natural resources. It is also connected to other cultural historical destinations in Le Thuy District such as Hoang Phuc Pagoda, the memorial house of General Vo Nguyen Giap, and the tomb of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh (Marquis in the 17th century).
The resort has been consulting and transferring technology by Nippon Koei Corporation. It is also directly advised & operated by Japanese experts. The Japanese standard resort service combined with the precious hot mineral stream of Truong Son mountains promises to bring wonderful relaxation and healing experiences to visitors.
It is also important that this new tourism product also contributes to solving the seasonality of Quang Binh tourism, especially in winter. The project also creates jobs for 100 local people who are Bru Van Kieu ethnic group.
