This 2-day, 1-night journey is designed for travelers traveling from Hue by heritage train and looking to discover the highlights of Phong Nha – Ke Bang. Upon arrival at Tho Loc Railway Station at 11:55 AM, you will be picked up and transferred to Phong Nha where you will enjoy a delicious local lunch before exploring Phong Nha Cave in the afternoon. In the evening, relax and stay overnight at Discovery Lodge.
On the second day, discover Paradise Cave and Dark Cave, with exciting activities including ziplining, kayaking, swimming, and natural mud bathing. This is an ideal choice for travelers who want to experience the best of Phong Nha in a short trip.
Day 1: Dong Hoi/Tho Loc Railway Station – Phong Nha Cave (L, D)
11:15 AM Guests are Picked up at Dong Hoi Railway station then being transfered to Phong Nha OR
11:55 AM: Pick up at Tho Loc Railway Station upon arrival of the heritage train from Hue. Transfer to Phong Nha center.
12:30 – 1:15 PM: Enjoy lunch at The CharmCharm Restaurant in Phong Nha.
2:00 – 4:30 PM: Explore Phong Nha Cave. Take a scenic boat trip along the Son River and discover the magnificent cave system, featuring spectacular stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years.
5:00 PM: Check in at Discovery Lodge and relax.
6:30 PM: Enjoy dinner at the restaurant.
Free time to explore Phong Nha town in the evening. Overnight at Discovery Lodge.
Day 2: Paradise Cave – Dark Cave (B, L)
7:30 – 8:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel.
8:40 – 9:00 AM: Pick up by the vehicle and tour guide.
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Explore Paradise Cave, including the first 1 km of this spectacular underground cave.
12:00 – 1:15 PM: Lunch at the Dark Cave Restaurant.
1:15 – 4:00 PM: Explore Dark Cave and enjoy exciting activities including ziplining, kayaking, swimming, and natural mud bathing.
4:00 – 4:30 PM: End of the tour and drop-off in Phong Nha or Dong Hoi.
