General Vo Nguyen Giap's Grave is located on Tho Mountain, Dragon Cape, in Vung Chua - Yen Island, Quang Dong Commune, Quang Trach District, Quang Binh Province. This is the final resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap - a Talented General, World Cultural Celebrity, and outstanding son of his hometown Quang Binh.

The General's resting place was chosen as a sandy grave, located in the middle of a vast, majestic sea, surrounded by towering mountains. This location has long been called by local people as the land where the dragon curls up and the tiger sits, where the Hoanh Son range stabs from the Truong Son range into the ocean. With a fan-shaped curved terrain and surrounded by three islands: Hon La, Hon Gio and Hon Nom (Yen Island), the Vung Chua beach area is quite windy. Therefore, even though it faces the East Sea, the waves here do not rush towards the shore but gently as if patting the sandy shore. This is also the reason why many boats anchor in Vung Chua during stormy days.

The General's Grave was built in a traditional architectural style, simple but dignified. The grave is placed on a high platform, surrounded by green trees and flowers. In front of the grave is a rectangular memorial, above which is engraved the words "General Vo Nguyen Giap - Outstanding son of hometown Quang Binh- Talented General - World Cultural Clebrity".

The main material used to build the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap is monolithic green stone - a material is often chosen to build tombs for talented people, people with great contributions to the country or family tombs with the intention It means expressing respect and deep gratitude to the deceased. It is known that these monolithic green stone slabs were taken from Non Nuoc Ngu Hanh Son Mountain, Quang Nam province.
