This is the largest MICE group ever: This group belongs to the pharmaceutical group Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, one of the largest pharmaceutical groups in India. Organizing a tour for all employees as a gratitude and bonding activity has created an event of unprecedented scale.
The Indian tourism market is growing strongly in Vietnam. With a large population and a growing middle class, the demand for travel of Indians is also increasing. Vietnam with many attractive destinations and reasonable costs is becoming a popular destination.

Opportunity to promote Vietnamese tourism
Before the information that a group of 4,500 Indian tourists would travel to Vietnam from August 27 to September 3, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism assessed this as a good opportunity to promote Vietnamese tourism to this potential market. The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism has requested the Departments of Tourism: Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh to support the organization of welcoming the group, ensuring safety and convenience. As of the end of July 2024, Vietnam welcomed 272,000 Indian visitors. This is the 8th market in the top 10 markets sending the most visitors to Vietnam's tourism industry in the first 7 months of the year.
The event of 4,500 Indian visitors to Vietnam is a positive sign, showing the development potential of Vietnam's tourism industry. This is also an opportunity for us to promote the image of the country, attracting more international tourists.
